I thought this might be helpful to many of you, and wanted to bring this over from TB so it's not lost once I have my content wiped. I'm a former preemie mom (my kiddo was a 29 weeker due to severe pre-e, IUGR, and practically nonexistent fluid levels), and was the mod of the preemie board for a little more than 2 years. I had a thread with some helpful links covering the basics of RSV and some items that might be helpful to have to help protect your preemie. I used many of these for the first 2 years of my daughter's life, because not only was she a preemie, but was at an even higher risk of complications because she also has cystic fibrosis. Things like the stop sign for the infant carrier were crazy helpful!
Anyway, enough about me. Hopefully this will still be a good starting point and a good resource to those of you who are in your first season, or even to those of you who are in your 2nd+ season and would like to look at the information again!
Since we're still in the beginning of the year when many deductibles reset, I just wanted to call attention to the Synagis Copay Savings program linked above. It saved us $2K in out of pocket expenses two years ago. Great program!
