Hopefully there is still someone around this board....
So by the time baby no. 2 arrives, DS will 2. He is tall, 90th percentile. We are looking for a double stroller to replace or current chicco umbrella stroller. We mainly take walks on uneven sidewalks, roads and are known to sometimes go through the grass and some dirt paths. Also we have a Graco click connect infant seat, but as we take most walks from home having a flat recline for the newborn would be preferable.
With DS getting older, we will most likely be going more places like zoos, aquariums and amusement parks where he would mossy likely be getting in and or more.
So advice on double strollers? They're is no way we can afford some of the pricier strollers out there, so are looking for something in the middle of the road as far as price goes. Looking online only makes my head spin and our local BRU had only a couple options.
The City Mini GT Double is awesome. I sold ours recently for more than $300 after 2 years of use. But it's expensive. We have a Joovy sit n stand and it's our second Joovy stroller. We have a single Scoot and it is my favorite stroller by far. They have ridiculously great customer service and make very good, well-designed, sensible products, so I would trust anything by them.
An example of their customer service: our first Scoot was hard to fold up. A piece of plastic on the stroller broke when I was closing it. We had had it for almost 6 months. I called, told them what happened, and they immediately sent me a brand new stroller. They were also so apologetic that the other one had been tough to close and told us that if the new one had that issue to please call them immediately and they would replace it again. The new one was perfect, and almost 4 years and 2 kids later, it's still my fav.
