M had a lot of sinus drainage issues overnight and was coughing up a storm. We twice had to do Tylenol and suction. Around 6:30 it sounded like she was up for the day, so I got up and got her sippy and vitamins ready, turned on cartoons, etc. Went to her room and she's still snoozing! So now I'm watching Looney Tunes with the cats.
Bridal registries and girl's day today. I'm excited, though I wish sleep was a thing last night. Oh well.
malvo, have a fun girls day. I'm sorry M didn't sleep well. Hopefully the snot will go away soon. ladymike, a hike sounds like fun but wine at the after party sounds better! We are eating second breakfast. My H went hunting this morning so it's just the girls. Of course they both woke up as he was leaving. It's date night!! The kids are going to DC for a few hours tonight. We don't have any plans. What should we do?
A was super snotty yesterday evening. Fx it doesn't turn too much of a bad cold. Ugh.
The photographer got some great shots I think!! She showed me a few on her camera. A was too interested in exploring and did NOT want to stand or sit still for a photo. So I'm fairly certain they are all candid photos with her. Ha ha. I like candid photos luckily though!!
R has gymnastics this morning, then I'm taking her and a friend to see the Trolls movie. Then to guitar center and dinner. I'm already tired. I still have to inventory two more boxes of llr... then the picture taking starts!
I set my alarm and got up early to shower and get the kids ready to be at the pedis when they opened. Got there at 8:25 and there were still several in front of us.
F has a bad ear infection in her right ear. Left looks good but the tube is out and sitting in her canal. So we're doing antibiotic drops in both (to try to flush infection from the other side out) and following up in two weeks. I can't even describe the stench coming from her right ear. It's gross.
H and his cousin each got a deer this am so they are outside skinning them with D. Putting f down for a nap and tacking my house.
The registry was fun. We've lived in the house for 7 years and things are worn out. I'm excited by the possibility of plates and bowls that didn't come from someone's attic, new teflon pots and pans (ours are scratched to hell), and some cool kitchen gadgets (a mixer would be lovely!). I also put some ridiculous items on, like a Roomba. LOL. A girl can dream!
My step-mom invited me and M out to dinner, so that was nice. M hasn't been very hungry today. I assume it's due to her cold. She ate two cups of oranges, a piece of toast, some Cheerios, a pudding cup, half a cup of applesauce, and milk. We just kept trying to get something - anything! - into that belly. FX her appetite perks up tomorrow.
Shhh! F has been asleep since about 6:30, h since about 7:45 and d since about 8 or so. All of us are in the living room and I don't even want to move a muscle (other than my thumbs!) in fear of waking someone!!
D's head is bruised and tender, but doing great otherwise.
