Hi all - so my DD is 10 weeks old, and I've been combo feeding since 2 weeks due to low milk supply (baby was very sleepy at the beginning, we had to use a nipple shield, and my LC also suspects insufficient glandular tissue). DD weighs about 10.5 lbs and usually takes about 12-14 oz in formula a day, and the rest comes from me.
3 weeks ago we weaned off the nipple shields and even though nursing sessions are now shorter, it seems like she is now more satisfied after nursing (also, no more clogged ducts! yay!). For the last week she has been taking less and less from the bottle - yesterday, she only took 9 ounces! I'm not pumping much as I am currently SAH and we nurse 6-7 times a day. She seems happy and satisfied and has adequate wet diapers - could it be that my boobs are finally getting the memo and are making a bit more? Does this happen so late in the game?

It sounds like she's more efficient and your supply is coming up. Talk with your doctor, but you could start offering what she's currently eating instead of trying to force more. When I combo-fed this is how I knew I could step down supplementing.
