UPDATES:I'm back at it starting today. As i can't shut up about it, i have joined the fit girls guide challenge - the 28 day jump start. I have meal prepped and will be working out everyday. I decided to do this as H is traveling a lot again and it's going to be hard for me to get to the gym. This way, I have a schedule and workouts that can be done at home!
I put my scale away today ladies, this may seem small but it's huge to me. I weigh myself multiple times a day - it's a bad addiction i have. So I weighed myself this morning and said good bye. (I did think about pulling it out after going to the bathroom to weigh again, but I resisted).
GOALS: My goals this week are to guzzle all the water and to stick to my work out schedule!
Alright, I'm trying to get my focus back. I pushed my step goal back up and I'm going to try and hit it daily. Still not drinking during the week, so that's cutting some calories. I'll get back to calorie counting next week.

I'm working my way through the deluxe version of core de force. I'm counting calories and committed to no drinking during this 30 days. If I can do all that plus lose 4% of my body weight then I'm treating myself to a Carly or Nicole LLR dress

I re-starting Round 2 of FGG to coincide with the group challenge today. I really hope I see some better results this month. I am going to put a lot more effort into my eating. And like @janetheconquerer, ditch the scale for a while. Maybe the duration of the challenge, so I don't get discouraged again and stop.

@janetheconquerer good for you. I too am scale obsessed.
Trying to either do a 30 day shred video or Pilates everyday plus calorie counting. I do really well for a few days then get completely derailed. Back at it starting today, hoping to hit my next weight loss goal by a wedding we're going to in 3 weeks.
I also need to charge my fitbit and start doing challenges again. I put it away at 35 weeks of my pregnancy when I was on the verge of being put on bed rest, and haven't looked at it since.
+1 to being scale obsessed. I am not ready to give it up just yet.
I joined the gym 2(?) weeks ago and I'm going M,W,F,S,S. I was just doing cardio but now I am going to add weights in. I did booty and legs on Friday and arms yesterday.
I do pretty well during the week with my eating but I totally blow it on the weekend with food and alcohol. We have a beach wedding to go two weeks and I am determined to look a little better in a bikini. I know results can't be great by then but, dammit I am going to try.

I need to get back on track too. Not drinking, and going flour free (no pastas, breads, etc) this week. Letting myself have one small piece of chocolate every night, but that's it.
I'm aiming to hit my step goal (14,000) every day this week. I want to get 2 spin classes, a long run, and a short fast run in. I'm also doing a 9 minute strength training circuit that I want to do 3 times this week.

I forgot to mention that I'm trying to eat less dairy. I've tried sone dairy free yogurts that I like and attempting to give up cheese. Cheese is a trigger. It causes me to binge. My meal replacement shake that I have for an afternoon snack has dairy in it but that's really the only dairy thing i've been having in the last week or so. Unless dairy is in the breads I'm eating. I haven't looked.
I'm toying with the idea of going vegan on week days. A "weekday vegan" id make some exceptions when needed. I choose a vegetarian diet for environmental reasons mostly but also health. I think this could benefit me. My issue is that I love eggs though.
I have noticed I've felt less bloated in the mornings without as much dairy.

runningmommy519, I am mostly dairy free. Dairy doesn't agree with me either— bloating, stomach troubles and heartburn. SoDelicious has a coconut milk yogurt that I am a big fan of (although regular yogurt is one of the few types of dairy I can tolerate, as long as I don't go crazy.) There was a point in my life when I was vegan, and I definitely eat vegan meals a couple times a week, but I love eggs too. Plus they're such a good protein source.
th3stryck3r have you found a good replacement for cheese. I've tried shredded daia (sp) and yuk.
Cheese is hard. I like to make my own cashew ricotta that I use for Italian— I dollop it on homemade pizza instead of mozzarella, use it to make an eggplant bake, etc.
For a melty cheese to go on a sandwich, the best one I've found is the field roast chao. (They make the best veggie sausage too.) I like the classic best, but they also have a tomato cayenne that is good. Not a fan of the coconut herb.
And for just a "cheesy" flavor, I sprinkle a little nutritional yeast into what I'm making.
I think that for any cheese substitute, you have to give it up entirely for a period of time, not trying to sub something in. Then, introduce the sub, and your palate is more inclined to like it.
Also— not vegan, but I've found that small amounts of non-cows milk (goat, sheep, etc) is easier on my digestive system. So when I have real cheese, it's often a little crumbled feta or similar.

th3stryck3r, i did not weigh myself. but seriously, the compulsion to do so was so strong. And i can still see my scale so it's like calling me...lol
The thing with this challenge, I think the hardest part will be not stepping on the scale - as I already eat pretty damn healthy (just need to be more consistent) and I already exercise (but these at home, target specific are great).
I can do this. You all can hit your goals this week, we got this!!!

tuscanlatte, confession - i did not eat the cadbury egg. it is still sitting on my desk staring at me. i also have a box sitting on the ledge of the cubicle that separates me and a co worker staring at me - cuz we share them. well we use to share them, now i tell her to eat them and she says she's saving them for me cuz she's the devil.
