It sounds like you have a lot going on, caitost21!
It's going to be kind of a crazy month for me, juggling work commitments and starting IVF. Since I work in theater, I don't have a traditional schedule, or the ability to hand things off to a coworker. So I'm working on making sure I get drawings done way ahead of time, since it looks like ER will happen the week of my next opening. It will be tricky, but worth it!
My parents will be visiting over Memorial Day, which I'm really excited about! My mom hasn't been out here in 2 years, though I've been back home plenty of times and we've met up in other states visiting Grandma, etc. But it will be cool to show her everything we've done to the house since we first moved in.
This month is kinda crazy for us also. BF has finals, we did my birthday and SS2. Later in the month we have his birthday and SS1. We are also headed to the Caribbean for a week. I am hoping for brunch on Mother's day but with so much happening I am not optimistic. He also put a ring on it for my birthday so there's that lol.Oh and of course Oh and of course we started soccer this week and I start dragon boat next week. We're intense.
April for us was non-stop. May has a little bit of a slow down but still a busy month. We went to a bbq festival this past Saturday. We are doing a touch a truck on Saturday (weather dependent) and then probably going to MIL house for mothers day. DS has pizza playgroup on the 16th, I have a job interview on the 18th, book club the 19th, we are planning to have date night on the 20th (don't know what we will do yet), and taking DS to a baseball game with paw patrol characters on the 21st. We might host a get together for memorial day but not sure yet. If not we will probably go to someone's house for a memorial day party.
caitost21 congrats on the pregnancy. We were tram green the first time around and it was cool to be surprised. I hope the complications aren't anything to serious. Have fun in Vegas! We wanted to see thunder down under when we went for my 30th birthday, but they were sold out so we ended up seeing Chippendales. I'm hoping Britney puts on a good show.
bonzo2012 I was wondering how TTC was going for you. Fingers crossed that IVF is successful the first round.
Life has been busy for us. DD1 turned 3 this week and is working on potty training and DD2 turned 1 a month ago today and is working on walking. I'm finally getting my little vegetable garden planted. DH and I are going to a mystery dinner theatre tomorrow. I'm excited since I've never been to one. The summer is going to be busy with cookouts, my grandfather's 80th bitthday celebration, and my SIL is due with my nephew in July!
