I'm able to keep up with her demand, and then some. But I've been a little lazy and some days I'm on;y pumping twice instead of 3 times. I need to cut it out because I do not need to stunt my productions.
Pump long enough to provide breast milk through 12 months at day care. nurse until she self-weans.
Baby sleeps well at night. But I'm still pumping once...or twice. I'm having a hard time weaning from the night pump. I should on;y be pumping to take the edge off, but I'm so tired and zombie-like that I end up pumping til empty.
Lots of drool and hand-eating. But no teeth yet
Had our 4-monnth check yesterday and baby girl is 13 pounds now!
GTKY: Mother's Day was a little hectic, but really, really nice. Relaxed morning/breakfast. Short family walk. Then a little running around to visit my H's mom and my family. Plus, chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate covered pretzels.

How old is LO? 5 mo 2 wks
How is breastfeeding going? Good.
How is pumping/work (if you are back to work)? Ok. Less stressful these last couple of weeks because he's slowed down at DC. He's napping longer and then also playing with the nipple instead of eating. I actually have some milk frozen!
Any short and/or long-term breastfeeding goals? Any goal updates? The goal is to get him to like formula so I can stop pumping for DC. I introduced oatmeal cereal using only formula and he ate it. We'll get there.
How are nights? Could be better at this pt I think. He's waking up on avg 3 times now (vs the 2 he was doing before).
Any teeth/signs of teething? Drool, more fussiness, pulling on and off from me when nursing and crying. No tooth in sight of popping or any swelling that I can see so I haven't given any Tylenol.
Questions/AW/Rant? It bugs me to interrupt my day to go pump.
Mother's day was good! Roses from the hubbie and DC sent home nice gifts from the kids. We had good food with the family. Incl chocolate covered strawberries and 3 leches cake! Love me some good dessert.
