chilibeansm0m What's a soda bottle trap in relation to wasps? We have them like crazy at our house and exterminator can only do so much because woods.
rquinlin That's awful! Poor girl. I hope they can figure out what's wrong and help right away! Let us know.
jnow I don't think you're rushing it! You have to do what's best for your family. If your LO is doing well in her own room and you are sleeping better, then that's all great! We moved Haden at 8 weeks and Hunter at like 5 or 6! Better for everyone. But I hear you about the feels. It's tough.
malvo Glad your girl slept well. Re: the cough. She might just be getting a little cold. Could explain the extra snoozing, too. I wouldn't worry about it.

I have so many dirty dishes in my house I just don't know how we are going to keep up with it. I think we are going to have to go back to paper plates for a while again. I'm getting irritated about it. We couldn't put them in the dishwasher last night because DH is convinced the dishwasher smells and needed to be cleaned. So after 2 empty loads, 1 with vinegar and 1 with baking soda It better sparkle.
Re baby smiles: they are the best! They make everything else just melt away.
rquinlin Hope you get everything figured out with G and it's nothing too serious!
kcbizme I lol'ed at the thought of a diy breast pump tape job.
ruemorgan Good luck at swim lessons! That's adorable that family wants to come watch- if they're this into swim lessons at his age imagine his high school football/soccer/track/whatever sports you're into games! Sounds like one loved little babe
LO slept from 10 to 6 this morning. Good for sleep. I'm assuming bad for supply. She fed from both sides and passed back out again. She must be making up for staying awake the entire day for a week now. Story time today. Hopefully LO stays asleep/quiet so DS can stay the whole time. We restarted the alphabet and I'd love to have a craft for every letter (we skipped a few last session)
I'm beginning to think that all my child does is have growth spurts. She's already way longer than most 8 week olds and for the last two days she's been up every 2 hours to eat. I'm lucky that at least when she got up to eat last night, she passed right back out when she was done. But finding time to pump is no joke...
ruemorgan, That happens to me all the time. I usually jolt awake a half hour later and start feeling around the bed for the baby thinking I passed out and dropped her. Nope, she's in her pack and play and fast asleep. I just have no recollection of putting her there.
jnow, I don't think you're rushing it. You have to do what's right for your family and if the LO is keeping you awake that's a recipe for an overtired mama.
jcar, I don't have another kid, but I do have 5 overactive cats and I've found that a spray bottle really works in keeping them from jumping on her while I pump. Spray bottles work on kids too right?
adouces06, Power pumping should help. I just started adding a pumping session so I could build up a stash. The first day I only got .5oz and after a few days I've worked up to a reasonable amount.
meowkitten, So cute!! Mine will scream bloody murder when she wakes up hungry and then right when I lay her on the boppy she stops and flashes a huge smile. Manipulative little bugger.
kcbizme, Re: taping a pump to your boob. I don't have a pumping bra, but I have a supportive sports bra that I slip the pump into so that I can nurse one side with the sports bra pulled up and pump the other.
jennypm yesterday was dramatic and the wasp is still on the loose.
Are you watching the dog because it knows you and is deaf and blind? That is so awesome of you.
I hope you catch that thing soon! As for the dog, it was actually our dog and we got it when I was pregnant with my 12 year old. He has nobody to watch him so, of course, I will. The girls will be here to help with him and I feel bad for the poor dog. He gets no attention at the ex's house.
I made this one except I crushed my grahams. Also, I obviously haven't eaten it yet but I think next time I'd make MOAR frosting than this recipe yields. NOT ENOUGH CHOCOLATE ON TOP. I'll update if there's anything else I'd change after we have it tonight. Super easy to make though.
rquinlin, I hope they figure out what's going on with your LO. It's scary when they are sick.
jcar, it is stressful to pump with 2. I've done it once or twice and had to tell LG not to rock sister so hard, or don't head butt sister! LG gives head kisses so she's just trying to kiss sister but she gets a little carried away!

malvo Sorry she's got a cold. It's hard to see them sick especially so young. Try not to worry unless she spikes a fever, has a lasting decreased appetite, or has any trouble breathing. I'm sure she'll be fine in a few days!
AFM: I had a really rough day yesterday. I decided to try on my largest non-maternity clothes to see what fit. Cue ugly crying. I have no pants that I can even get over my hips, forget trying to zip them. I have a grand total of 4 tops that I can wear. They aren't flattering, but at least they button/aren't stretched unbelievably tight. I didn't expect to fit into my normal clothes, but not even being able to get into my "fat" clothes made me feel terrible. I know it takes time to get your body back and I'm trying to go easy on myself, but it's hard. I struggled with an ED before getting pregnant and was so happy that I didn't fixate on my weight during the pregnancy. But now that my LO is out I feel like there is no excuse to have this extra weight. I EBF and it is going well so far, so I don't want to diet too much or over exercise and screw that up. Gah... I just wish I could not think about my size!
Wow, that ended up being long. Sorry for the dear diary.
Tl;dr: My clothes don't fit and that makes me sad.
pearsforpoops, so much yes on that cake! I love allrecipes! rquinlin, C has been a little extra fussy esp on the breast lately and seems to be spitting up more as well..I'll be thinking of you and G..hoping its nothing serious!
jennypm, so nice of you to care for your XH pup!! That made me wish I knew you IRL, because you must be an amazing friend!
So C has been spitting up a lot..and often..I then realized if I put him down after nursing he doesn't spit up bc I'm not burping him..is this ok?? If he cries, then I burp him and he spits up..but I'm not actively burping him then he's not spitting up so much, I'm aware this is prob a weird FTM question,,
rquinlin fx it's nothing major! Keep us posted! chilibeansm0m yay!! Happy you got a good stretch last night. ruemorgan have fun at swim lessons, I need to get my girls into swim class jennypm major brownie points jnow if that's what works for your family then that's what you've got to do adouces06 power pumping should help it just might take a couple days shanniegal I understand where your coming from o have one pair of pants I fit into and it's by no means comfortable so I don't end up wearing them much. Don't be hard on yourself it takes time to get there. It's more important to be healthy for your baby than worry about size. You'll get there
shanniegal I'm sorry you're upset about your body. I commiserate, I gained a lot during pregnancy and didn't let it bother me because my OB wasn't concerned. Now I'm almost 13w pp and still can't fit into any pre-pregnancy pants. I have one pair of jeans that was 2 sizes too big pre-pregnancy....I can barely and very uncomfortably squeeze myself into them now. I've been wearing my maternity yoga pants & nursing tanks. I'm EBFing too, but I've hit a plateau and I guess I need to do something with my diet/exercise routine now.
AFM it took forever for LO to fall asleep last night, like was awake from 6-10, but I woke complain because she slept til 3 after that. More and more often that first stretch is 5 hours. Yay! We need to spray our yard for ticks they are out of control, and then end on the house when we come in. I had one on my arm after sitting on the couch I had been in for hours by then. I don't usually like using chemicals but I'm not playing this game with ticks. This last week of maternity leave is going waaaay to fast.
I am so effing tired. LO went down at 7, was up at 8:30, 11, 1:30,3:30, 4:45, 5:30 and is up again (for the day) now at 7:30. I'm thinking growth spurt. My eyes are burning trying to keep them open.
I go back to work on Monday. This whole week I've been attempting to get up and get ready like I'll be leaving the house to commute to work. Not a single morning so far have I managed to eat or get dressed by the time I would need to leave. Hopefully the next two days go more smoothly.
rquinlin, I hope your LO is okay! bluebell0315, I hope your day turns around. Now you have an excuse to go out for lunch, right? ruemorgan, ave fun at swim lessons!
I haven't caught up yet, but we've had two small earthquakes in the last half hour. Last night was really rough and I really need another hour or two of sleep. Unfortunately, I'm too paranoid that the big one is coming, so I'm exhausted and wide awake at the same time. Good morning March 15! I need coffee.
shanniegal, I feel you girl! Nothing fits me either. I'm trying to track what I eat and I've started back to crossfit, but it's still so hard. I wish there were more options for clothes to transition during the first couple of months post partum.
babys2015, I'm not that awesome. well, maybe a little awesome. I just feel bad for the poor dog. I should have taken him in the divorce.
